After 5 hours of pushing (if I’m remembering correctly – it was a long time) at close to 2:30pm Emily was born. I remember feeling her head come out and then the rest of her body. She was here! She was placed on my chest immediately. It took a few moments for me to be positioned in such a way so I could actually see her and what she looked like. Oh sweet perfect baby girl. She was here and she was beautiful. And her birth was amazing and so hard.
